Can not uninstall driver manager from my windows notebook with windows 8.1 says uninstalling but does nothing help please

Update Your Computer Drivers Automatically with Driver Manager

HowtoUninstallDriverManager If you have decided you no longer need Driver Manager on your system, you can uninstall it in one of two ways.
Both of these options completely remove Driver Manager from your system.
1.Anuninstallationlinkcalled"Uninstall"wasplacedinyourStartmenu,intheProgramsfolder,under"DriverManager". Clicking this link will start the uninstallation process.
2.Alternatively,youcanuseWindows'built-inuninstallutility; Go to your Control Panel from the Start Menu. In Windows XP, you will see an icon named "Add/Remove Programs". In Vista and Windows 7, the same functionality is behind an icon called "Programs and Features".
Double-click on this icon. Here, you will see a list of every application installed on your system.
Find the entry for Driver Manager and click on it once to select it. An "Uninstall" button will appear.
Pressing this will begin the Driver Manager uninstallation procedure.
hope that helps

Hello, ip-shield trial version keeps starting on reboot. How do you uninstall this driver/program? page gives no help at all. I removed it in the device manager, start process drivers,...

There are two things to try. First, in your Control Panel go to "Add and Remove Programs". If this doesn't work, download the free application " Revo Uninstaller" from One of these should get rid of it for you. Revo Uninstaller also has a part of it that you can stop any programmes that run at start-up if you want to. Good luck, and please let me know at how you got on.

This means that one of the programs that are installed during recovery  are malfunctioning. Go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall all programs that you do not use or that are out of their trial period. Then you should run a system cleaner like CCleaner.

You do not list the program you are trying to uninstall. If it is Norton or McAfee ignore the rest of this post and list the program you are wanting to remove. If not then you must first stop your old program from running before attempting to uninstall it. You can do this in Task Manager. Right click an empty space in your task bar at the bottom of the screen. Click Task Manager. Look in the processes tab and locate the program you are referring to. Then click Stop Process and proceed to remove it. If that does not work click Start >> Run and type in msconfig then hit run. Find the program in the Startup tab. Disable the program from running at Startup. Now Restart your computer then uninstall the program.

2. Search for recovery manager under all programs, click advanced tab - select driver download and click next - choose the driver(ie - boradcom or atheros) - click install - restart the computer.
Then check the wireless light.
3. Do a bios update of the notebook.
( then restart and check.
4. If still no go then Reseat the wirless card on your notebook.
Situated at the bottom pannel of notebook ,you will find a compartment with a image of tower with signals unscrew that compartment and the carefully remove the wireless card and put it back again and repete the step 2.

Wireless LAN problem

Make sure that the built-in wireless lan is disabled. If your pc is XP or vista, uninstall the new WIRELESS LAN(go to control panet, add/remove programs), select the Atheros Software. Leave the WIRELESS ADAPTER connected to your pc. Insert the disc, do not run the set up. RESTART THE PC. The drivers for the WIRELESS ADAPTER should install, if not load drivers manually.
MAKE SURE WIRELESS ZERO CONFIGURATION for XP is running. You should be able to detect wireless networks.
