Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch. Hope this helps you. Bud

I dont know how this thing works or where to plug it in

You FIRST download install the software driver for it Micro Innovations PD7250LSR from the manufacturers web site, & THEN plug the thing with a"Tail" into a USB port, The "Mouse" connects to/through this.

Failed DST Short Test and Screwy Mouse/Keyboard

Hi there.
I'm sorry to say that error code 1000-0146 means that the hard drive is failing and it can go at anytime, get yourself a USB mouse and start the computer up, the operating system should recognize the mouse and install the drivers (it may take a couple of minutes so be patient), as soon as the mouse is installed it is imperative that you back up all of your data, either to an external drive or CD/DVD.
Then you have to purchase another dive of if you have any warranty on the laptop send it in for Dell to repair.
If you are out of warranty and need instruction on how to install a new drive please feel free to post back.

Good luck and thanks for choosing FixYa!!

Go to Start -> Control Panel -> System -> Hardware tab -> Click "Device Manager" -> Find the item called Mice and pointing devices and click the + sign.

If synaptics is listed right click and select Uninstall.

After that completes go to the top of the Device Manager and select Action -> Scan for hardware changes...it should find the device and attempt to reinstall it and the driver.

Dynex wireless mouse DX-PWLMSE won't work

The mouse should be Plug and Play. Did you install the drivers before plugging the mouse's receiver in? The PC has to have the drivers first in order to take advantage of the Plug and Play capability. If you plugged the mouse's receiver in before installing the drivers, unplug the mouse receiver, uninstall the driver, reboot your PC, reinstall the driver, then plug the receiver in and you should be fine.

Otherwise, press the Connect button on the receiver first, and then the Connect button on the mouse, and that should establish the connection. You don't need to disable your touch pad in order to use the mouse.

Unable to connect to the synaptics pointing device driver

I am assuming that the mouse has batteries installed in it and the CD was used to install the software program for the mouse.
Did you try Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it to Reset/Connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly.
If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud
