Do you still have the original CDs that came with the computer? If you do then the sound drivers should be located on one of the CDs and you can reload the sound drivers from the CD.

I have no sound in my computer

Hi, I am Steve, lets get you some help.

The first thing to try to solve this issue is to go to the settings, control panel, system, hardware, device manager.

Find you sound device and uninstall it. Then select action, scan for hardware changes. Windows will find your sound card and install the necessary drivers.

Let me know if this works, if not we will move onto the next level of troubleshooting.

Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a sound device installed on your computer, it may be in use by another program, or it may not...

this problem happens when sound driver is nt installed or nt installed properly

in this case if the driver is installed then uninstall it from control panel restart pc and then install the driver again

after istalling driver restart ur pc

this will definitely work
and if not then uninstall driver restart pc
right click on my computer

then on properties - hardware tab - device manager

check out here any device marked by yellow icon right click on it and then select install or update driver and new hardware wizard opens select install from internet and thats all ur problem will be solved
