Question about KitchenAid KITCHEN AID 5 Quart Artisan Series Stand Mixer
The attachments are hitting the bowl - it seems like the motor/head is sprung..........leans too far down. We've tried to adjust the motor arm setting but can't find out what to adjust to keep it from tipping too far down. The only thing the kind of helps is to put a folded piece of cardboard underneath the hinge as the motor tips forward. But there's got to be some kind of adjustment somewhere. In the meantime the attachment's vinyl coating have all rubbed off and the bowl is getting scrapped up. Please let me know what we can do or if an authorized repair place can fix this. Thanks, Linda Sessions

SOURCE: kitchen aid mixer leans forward
Is this for a "tilt neck model? If so, the manual suggests that there is a small screw in between the base stand and the "neck" of the mixer. You should be able to screw it in or out to adjust it. Good luck!
