Question about JVC DRM10 DVD Recorder
When attempting to plug the unit in and start using it again it started blinking "Loading" and has not stopped for three days.
The problem with these units is the filter capacitors in the power
supply. They should be removed and replaced with 25 v.dc
capacitors...total cost for the capacitors £5. If you don't fancy doing
the repair your self, perhaps you know of a good friend who can use a
The capacitors are 2200 micro farads radial mounting, 680 and 1200, all should be at least 25v dc working for a reliable recorder. The existing ones are prone to "leaking" and should never have been used...shame on you JVC!
