RT50 control panel not responding

It still sounds like the child lock is on since that prevents accidental setting changes on the refrigerator's control panel. The following will NOT work if the child lock function is activated: Freezer Temp Button Fridge Temp Button Power Freeze Button Power Cool Button Ice Type Button Water Button Ice maker Water OR it may be in Cooling Off/Demo Mode. Cooling Off/Demo Mode is a feature used by retailers to display the refrigerator without running the compressor. If your unit is not cooling, and the bars are constantly scrolling up and down the temperature, check your manual for reset advice

Just replaced water filter..flushed the system as instructed.pressed the ice type button and the Child Lock button but the red light will not go out.

Hi
If the child lock light is on, you need to hold the child lock button until the light goes out.

Then press Ice type button and child lock button simultaneously for I believe 5 or more seconds until the filter light goes green.

I have a american style side by side fridge 3 years old it is beeping for no reason it is the noise when you change the temperature or use the child lock it is driving me mad can you help please thank's!!

Check that the thermostat isn't stuck. Also check the child lock. Unexplained beeping is usually caused by something being in the wrong position.

If there are no problems with operating the thermostat and the child lock, turn off the refrigerator and unplug it from the wall. Wait five minutes. Then plug it in again and turn it on. This ought to cure any beeping caused by a minor fault with the circuit board.

If that doesn't work, there may be a problem with the wiring, which should be fixed by an engineer.

Hope that helps a bit. Good luck!

My child safety lock is on my dish washer how do I get it off

For my old GE washer, there was a button with a lock icon. To lock/unlock it, you had to hold that button down for 10 seconds.

Hope this helps!
