The fuselage is the body of the airplane. It includes the cockpit, the cabin, and the cargo of the plane. Depending on the type of airplane, the fuel could be stored in the fuselage.

I'm new to remote control aircraft and I recently made a foamboard plane. Whenever I take off it goes in a vertical circle before hitting the ground upside down. What's wrong with my plane?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved from Television and Video category.

It may be tail heavy, so it goes into a steep climb turns part of a loop and stalls. It should balance in the centre yoke of the wing.

Or the control surfaces and not set correctly.

Brookstone Helicopter Cloud DSS

In general, the main rotor in an R/C helicopter only tips forward and backwards of vertical center. Direction is determined by the tail rotor. If the entire machine is tilting right, even if the rotor doesn't appear to be, check the motor mount, and or gear train of the main rotor in the fuselage. The main rotor shaft in the fuselage should be exactly vertical relative to the helicopter deck and with trim tabs centered. If your model has the two small fans, one on either side of the fuselage, try replacing the propeller on the right one, even if it looks OK and check for lint or hair on motor shafts. Again, this is a general answer from my own experience. Hope it helps.

Stunt copter won't sync

I presume you have lights & sound on the controller when you turn it on - fourteen quick beeps and then a different toned fifteenth beep. The screen lights (blue). Insert the battery (lettering facing up toward the helo fuselage unitl it's seated all the way - an LED inside the fuselage, visible from behind, quick flashes and then begins a slower blinking.

Once the helo battery is inserted, turn on the controller, which starts the aforementioned beeping. On the last controller beep the helo's LED will stay lighted, indicating the helo & controller are synched.

I had a problem making sure the battery was inserted all the way into the helicopter. You'll know it's inserted properly when the LED inside the helo flashes.

My fuselage broke in two at the fire wall. can it be glued and if so, how?

you can use an epoxy that is just for foam purposes. But mine broke at the center under the wing. I used colored duct tape to match and it flys just fine.
