If you replace the fuser you need to take out the fuser error code in diagnostics.

It melted in the fuser and has over heated.
You will need to replace the fuser. Google a business called The parts drop, call and ask for Britt.

Help me for error code u4 for xerox 5921

Hi,

The U4 codes for Xerox machines are for the fuser (heat roller) unit. It's rarely something that you can fix yourself I'm afraid.. Sometimes it pops up from overwork and powering off the machine allows it to cool down but if it keeps coming back you need to get it checked out properly..

Xerox Copier Machine - Error U4

The fuser is not warming up.
On that machine under the web there is a thermal fuse on a white plastic mount, it has one screw through it.
It is most likely blown. Possibly caused by a jammed paper in the fuser.
That fusable link needs to be replaced.

Xerox 212 copier

Most likely replace the fuser.
And be sure you use transparencies marked for copiers only.
The U4 is an over heat because the tranaparency stuck between the heat roll and the thermistor. Causing the fuser to stay on and blow the overheat.
