Re: Upper right - where green light comes on when you hit...
Depending on your keyboard it could be scroll lock, caps lock, or num lock is on. You can turn them off by depressing the appropriate keys on your keyboard until you find the one that turns the light off. Hope this helps.

Third light is usually the "scroll lock" indicator.
-Activation Button should be on top row, near far right side, on standard keyboard.
Note: Laptop keyboards vary greatly from the standard layout with 'scroll lock' usually activating using an 'alt' or 'brand' (ex. "Apple") key.
I have a feeling there are two ways to tell. First, the receiver unit that connects to your computer should have two LED light on them. One will have an "A". This will be lit when the Caps Lock is on. The second LED has a "1" over it, and that's your Num Lock indicator.
The second way will be after you install Logitech's software, text will appear across bottom of your screen (usually in green) for a second or two telling you if you just pressed the Caps Lock or Num Lock buttons.
This means the number lock is on - in the upper right hand corner of the keyboard is a series of 4 keys. Far right is delete, then (from the right) insert, Prnt Scrn, and Num Lk. Hit the Num Lk key, and the number 9 with the padlock should shut off. Your keyboard should now work normally.
Any more problems, let me know!
Initially, have you checked/pressed on the "Scroll Lock" key (between Print Screen & Pause). To my knowledge, on most keyboards, the three common indicator lights are: Num Lock, Caps Lock and Scroll Lock.
Hope that this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
Is the caps lock light illuminated? If so, you might have to hold shift and hit caps lock to turn off the caps lock. This is an option for old typists who came from manual typewriters that you might have turned on by mistake.
