I had the same problem. One or more of the switches for the stove have melted and broken. You need to call Dimplex and request new switches. They should ship you out a 3 pack for free, and the pack will come with easy instructions for removing the bottom panel and replacing the switches.

It depends....on if you are talking about a small blower in the front of the furnace or the indoor fan motor. If your furnace is an 80% effficiency rating or above it will have a 'combustion air' fan....that will be a small on in front of the furnace in the vestibule under the front cover. If you have that motor and that is the one you are asking about...then YES it has to be running prior to the furnace igniting the gas.
If you are talking about the indoor fan motor for circulating air into your ducts, then NO it does not have to be running in order for the furnace to ignite. But it WILL have to run to remove the heat from the heat exchanger after it ignites or it willl overheat and shut off on high limit.
Yes it should go in this sequence, first exhaust fan, after establishing air flow you get a pilot, after signal from pilot is established you get main burners, then they have to reach a set temperature on the high limit and then the blower comes in. Now you have several over heat safety sensors one of them could be tripped check by powering the furnace down and see if they have a reset button on them, some do some do not. If not it should be the sensors closest to the heat exchanger and blower assembly use a volt ohm meter and check them should be normally open until temp is established then closed. This is easier done than it is to describe, now locate the high limit switch and bulb and see if it is open across the contacts it should be until it hits temp then it closes to start the blower. Hope this helps instead of confusing the hell out of you. Take your time locate the items then test.
try looking at the afc the fan control might need cleaning at the back of it could be filled with dust, or blocked air filter afc works on temp rise to start fan running and temp fall to stop running check settings on the afc thhey should be in your manual or afc might need changing
Is there a setting on the thermostat for Auto or Fan? If so, make sure it is in the Auto setting. You will have a contactor that turns on the elements and a relay for the fan. Follow the wiring diagram to see which relay energizes the fan then unplug it to see if the fan stops.
If you are not getting any codes from the board, then the furnace is not getting a call for heat from the thermostat. A wire may have come off, the thermostat not properly wired, or a break in the stat wire. On a call for heat, you should have 24vac between W and C on the circuit board. This will let you know if you are getting a call for heat all the way back to the furnace.
The pilot light has to be lit before gas valve will operate. That's a safety feature so the valve won't open and fill the garage with gas and possibly cause an explosion or fire. If you have a standing pilot and can't get pilot to stay lit, it's usually the thermocouple and it will need to be replaced. Once the pilot is lit, the gas valve comes on and heats the combustion chamber up to approx. 100° to 125° a thermostat controlled fan switch will close and bring the blower on.
