I have a sandisk sansa c140 mp player. it worked fine until I was adding songs on to it, added until it said theres is no more room, I safely removed the mp3 player. It played correclty until I turned it off. In the turn on screen it sends me the error NoSpaceForDB Please Delete MoreThan4.0MB. Every time it gives me the language pick screen too. There is NO songs in the music screen, when I go to genre, artist, album the mp3 freezes. Format doesnt do anything, tried in both MTP and MSC mode. MTP ends the format but in MSC mode it gives a error in the end. When I plug it in MTP mode, I can go into the mp3, there is 2 folders data and media, in the media folder the folders Music and Pictures folders are missing.
Sends me the error NoSpaceForDB Please Delete MoreThan4.0MB. Every time

Hmmm i'm not familiar with the problem but try this.
First open your mp3 player and go to settings. Under the USB menu
change it to MSC. Then plug in the mp3 player to the computer. Open
the My Computer on your desktop, right click on the Sansa mp3 player
and click Format. Make sure Fat32 is checked and Quick format is
UNchecked. Then format the mp3 player. After that it should be clean
and work just like a USB drive.
Let me know if this helps!

Exactly the same problem. Wierd. I've tried everything - even some of the open source hard drive tools - low level. Nothing. Maybe somebody knows the cyclinders, sectors, heads etc. and I can do a low level hack to get the partition table working.
Any help out there? : )
