Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

When I want to send an email I print the first letter and all the addresses comeup. Then I pick the address I want. The addresses are not in contacts. They only pop up when I wnt to sendan email.hope you...

The email contacts are stored separately in your email client I.e. Yahoo, Gmail etc and not in your phone contact list. If you want them in your phone contact list you have to export contacts and then import it in your phone contacts. I would not recommend this as this can really clutter up your phone contacts list with emails.

I need to notify all my contacts of an email address change

In my opinion, the best way is to export your contacts from your previous Gmail account and import them into your new account.

You could then send an email from your new account alerting your contacts that your email has changed.

You can get more information about importing, exporting, and syncing contacts in Gmail's Help section.

I want import e-mail addresses from another to my G-Mail Account

If InCrediMail will let you export your contacts to a CSV file or into vCard files you can import them in to Gmail very easily.

The Gmail help website offers great information on importing, exporting, and syncing contacts with Gmail.

I am from Italy and my origin is another country. Unfortunately my e mail transfered to English to Italian language. I have tried several times to enter my account page to transfer the language. Every time...

    Automated Transfer Method
    1) Open your gmail account. Go to Settings.
    2) Click on the "Accounts and Import" Tab. Enter the passwords for your Yahoo! mail account.
    3) Select the import options you want to use. You can decide to import all your contacts, and old mail, or some portion of thereof.
    4) Note that only messages currently in your INBOX will be imported, and they will be automatically labelled with the name of your yahoo account. If you have other folders in your yahoo account that you want imported, you'll need to rotate those messages into your yahoo INBOX.

    Manual Contact Transfer Method
    1) Export your contacts from Yahoo mail: Go to >> Contacts >> Import/Export
    2) Select Yahoo CSV from the drop down menu.
    3) Save the file to your Desktop.
    4) Log into Gmail.
    5) Click on "Contacts" in the left hand sidebars.
    6) Select "Import Contacts" from the options.
    7) In "Browse" select the file on your Desktop. It will import all your contacts.

If you want to abandon your Yahoo account, go to "Mail Options" in Yahoo. Select "Vacation Response." Write a short note to announce to correspondents to send all emails to your new Gmail address, which you specify. This email will be sent to whoever emails you on your Yahoo. So you may want to obfiscate your email ID: ie. your_address(AT)provider.com instead of your_address@provider.com If you want, you can also send a quick email from Gmail to your Contact Book addresses informing them of your change.

Your country/language setting - what Yahoo! Mail calls your "Preferred Content" - can be adjusted by following these steps:
    1. Click on your user name which is located at the top of your Yahoo! Mail page, next to the Yahoo! Mail logo. This will open a pull-down menu.
    2. Click Edit My Account.
    3. This will open a new window in which you will be prompted to re-enter your password. You will then be re-directed to your Yahoo! ID Card.
    4. Under "Member Information" in your Yahoo! ID Card, click the Edit link. This will take you to "Member Details."
    5. Click on the link next to Preferred Content and from there you can select from a list that best meets your content needs.
    6. Click Finished.

NEWlaptop, want to set up adresss book and send E-mail. r.harris171@btinternet.com

If you have already made an address book in any other email ID of yours (e.g. Gmail) you can import all the contacts directly to your Yahoo ID. If you have set up a contact list in Windows, that can come in handy too, if you export it to a .csv file and import in Yahoo mail.
If you have not set up any address book so far in any ID, then its a manual task for you to add each entry individually.

    Erroe code 1

my mother in law has gotten error 2 and now error 1 for weeks on yahoo. i wrote them, no response. then i wrote again, they sent me a form letter with canned responses "make sure you have cookies enabled, etc etc". it's not my mother-in-laws fault-- she tried, then we tried (300 miles away on another computer) and this we did with both internet explorer and firefox to make sure it's not the browser's fault.

    Same error.

It's on yahoo, Kevin. Bug them until they give you a coherent response, or just migrate to gmail, it's much better... make sure you try to save (export, download) your contacts list even if you cant retrieve all your emails, just in case you move to another email providor like gmail.
