Question about Kenmore Drop-In Bobbin 16231 Mechanical Sewing Machine
I have a brand new kenmore 16221 sewing machine, but i haven't used it in a year and now i can't find the user manual. i can't remember how to wind the bobbin.... i've tried pulling out the top handle to make the needle not move, which i thought might make it automatically switch to 'bobbin winding' mode, but that doesn't seem to be working..... can anyone tell me how to wind the bobbin, OR, better yet, where to get a new owner's manual?? thanks in advance!
On the right side of the machine there is a large knob at the top. Pull that out and you can wind your bobbin. Don't forget to push it back in so you can sew :)

I have a 16231 model, and on that one you have to push the bobbin winder to the right to get it to wind. It may be the same for your machine.
