When this problem occur you need to set the memory card unlock or not
protected.
Remove the memory card from camera and you can see a small button in
the memory card, so you need to slide that to set the memory card unlock
or not
protected.
You can try getting an SD card reader with a USB connection. The computer will treat this as another input. You should see a file folder with JPG files in it. This will be your pictures. Just do a "copy" to another file on your computer. Several companys make these card readers. 2 are Vargus and Lexar. I purchased one for my wife's camera the other day at Walmart. It was a "Targus High Speed SD/SDHC Card Reader/Writer". It was around $8.
how u upload pics from camera thru USB , pls look where u download pics on ur pc Video files are also shown like pics and they are numbered in sequence with pics so look out for the video files in the copied folder of ur pc and see if u can find them other wise right click and arrange or sort content of the folder as SORT BY TYPE and then all pics will be separate and in the end or in the beginning u will find ur videos but rem the file number is in sequence and they are normally shown as pics ,
otherwise which card ur camera support , XD card as i know , y dont u use it directly in a laptop card reader if u have one, and try to copy all u have in DCIM folder ok let me know if it helps , can u see videos in camera then sure u can download them
wrong connection! you must use firewire to stream video and audio from your cam-make sure comp has connection-called 1394-on cam it's called dv and get proper cable and you will be fine-usb only for pics
The memory card is strictly for still photos. The tape is strictly for video. Transferring video tot he PC requires a firewire card on your PC (for direct cable connection).
