Hi can you tell me what the sound card is in the Acer 15.6

if it cant start then realtech is not the proper sound card install the correct driver

The problem is your sound drivers they are corrupted, go into control panel hardware and sound, device manager, look for realtech sound in the list, once found right click it uninstall it, and reboot your pc, it will fix the problem itself.

It is your video card. My friend had the same problem, we got him a new video and that took care of it.

Just select the operaing system and choose the realtech audio driver.

question, does your pc have realtech audio built into the motherboard or other like nvidia or ati. if not realtech then you are loading the wrong drivers. uninstall the realtech drivers and check under device manager to find out the device you need drivers for.. then download them from freeware files.com and install the correct drivers..

1. You will need to find out what sound card you have most likely its realtech on acer, then go to web site for sound card and download windows 7 driver if they dont have one yet which is very possible then try the one for vista it works about half the time.

is it realtek high def audio

goto device manger and find the sound card and do a driver update this could help if not right click on the speaker on the bottom /right of the laptop and open volume mixer make sure everthing is ok
