Question about Toshiba SD-K760 DVD Player
The open/close button will not open the dvd tray and a "locked" message appears in the window. The tray on my Toshiba DVD player is locked, and will not open, either via the remote control or the button on the unit itself. Page 32 of my user's manual says to Press SETUP button, then press the number button 2005, to lock and to unlock the tray. However, there is no number button 2005 on the remote control, and I cannot enter numbers in the SETUP mode, except for the PARENTAL LOCK, which takes a 4 digit code. However, when I enter 2005 at that part of the menu, nothing happens. If anyone has a solution, thank you for providing such.
Press Setup then the numbers 2 0 0 5 then setup and it should unlock
Display 2 0 0 5 Display

Tips for a great answer:

To unlock, manually press and HOLD the open/close button & the stop button simultaneously, and HOLD them both down until the lock picture disappears. The DVD will eject when you press the open/close button.
To lock the DVD inside the machine, repeat the same step, and it will lock it inside.
