Truck uses too much fuel
I believe the "fuel mixture screw" nabmommy is refering to is the High Speed Needle (HSN) on the carburetor. This is the largest adjustment screw on the top left side of the carburetor where the fuel line attatches to the carb. Tighten (clockwise [to the right]) to lean the fuel mixture in very very small increments, about 1/16th of a turn each time. Only lean the mixture out until you don't notice any improvement in power, then richen it back 1/16th turn to put it into the safe range.
If you lean the mixture out too much, to the point where there is no more blue smoke or it stalls when the rpm's are higher, you can overheat and destroy the engine very quickly. In this case richen the HSN (counter-clockwise [left]) 1/4 turn, make sure you can see a trail of blue smoke then try to lean it out a little at a time until you don't notice any improvements in power, then richen again 1/16th of a turn to make sure it runs safely.

P.S.- I also hope you did your full break-in procedure EXACTLY how Traxxas suggests during the first 5 tanks of fuel. I have two 3.3 motors for my T-maxx, the first one is junk (good for some parts) because I didn't follow the Traxxas way. It ran just fine, so I thought, until a friend of mine with the same truck drove mine a few times and told me that I was missing out on a lot more power. I bought a new engine and followed their plan and I was entirely SHOCKED at the difference with the new motor. Oh, and yes, I did have both of them tuned for perfect race fuel mixtures, running on Top Fuel 33% the whole time. The first engine I "broke-in" I used the method I've always used for nitro trucks. I was wrong.
