You should probably take your car to a reputable mechanic to determine the problem. If you were in an accident there is probably component damage and a simple adjustment will fix the problem.

SOURCE: front end noise cavalier

hi, this sounds like track rod ends have gone this is for the steering and causes the tyre to where in one point these are cheap to buy and easy to fit but you will need to get the tracking set after replacing this part as it needs to be set to stop your tire wearing uneven the noise your getting will be from the tire on the road as it will be forcing the tire to run uneven so getting this checked would be my first choice.
Hope this is some help toy you let me know how you get on or if you have any questions ok

SOURCE: rear wheel alignment

first of all firestone are rip off artist. you got suckered. next there are struts on the back and yes you should align them however it has more to do with how the tire wears than a steering issue. with only 12,000 miles I seriously doubt there would have been a problem. my solution would have been if one of the front tires was bad i would have replaced it then took the 2 back tires and put them on front and the new tire and other front tire on the back and no alignment would have been needed unless your girlfriend would have complained about it tracking one way or the other. feel free to click on my user tab anytime you need help.... please rate this.........thanks

SOURCE: I have front end vibration

just checked this out a while ago:

Wheel Hub Assemblies: Systems and Diagnosis of Worn Hub Assemblies & Bearings
Front wheel hub assemblies and bearings control the position of, and reduce the resistance of, vehicle wheels in contact with the pavement. When they fail, front wheels may not be kept in position and vibration and noise usually develop. Symptoms that normally develop as a result of these worn parts include:

  • A humming, rumbling or growling noise which increases with acceleration or as the vehicles turns
  • Vibration felt in the steering wheel, which changes with vehicle speed or as the vehicle turns
  • Looseness or excessive play in the steering wheel (especially while driving over rough road surfaces)
  • A loud, constant grinding noise when driving the vehicle (heard in the most severe cases of a wheel bearing failure)
  • Pulling to one side when braking.
  • Roughness - with the vehicle of the ground, roughness or vibration when rotating the wheel
  • Looseness - with the vehicle off the ground, looseness when wiggling the wheel back and forth (Looseness may also indicate a worn ball joint)
  • Excessive brake pedal play can also indicate sloppy or excessively loose wheel bearings
  • ABS failure in the system may be related to failure of the ABS sensor in the hub assembly or the internal sensor in the wheel bearing

SOURCE: Growling/Roaring Noise Front End

sounds like a wheel bearing. typically when you take weight off bad bearing noise goes away. to replace bearing you will need a press to get it off and on

SOURCE: S430 Mercedes - Front end shaking at 55+

It sounds like you have either a broken steel belt in your tire or a worn out idler arm in your steering assembly. Other causes may be a bent wheel, a flat spot on the tire or worst case your brake rotor / wheel hub may be loose. If the rotor / wheel hub is loose you may have severly damaged wheel bearings. Good luck...

After a hit the ditch the car dog tracks and the pasenger rear wheel seans to be 3/8 of an inch further back than the drivers side is there rear wheel alignment or ajustment

You aren't saying what type of car you are referring to, but if you are as far out of alignment as you claim to be, you probably are not going to be able to adjust your way to alignment. Something is definitely bent or broken and will need to be straightened or replaced.

Camber ajustment on isuzu rodeo 2003

if this is an independent front end the the camber can be adjusted by shims or eccentric washers on the lower arm
If it is a full axle the there are off set bearing cups available that a wheel alignment shop can fit when checking the camber. These bearing caps are available from places like Pedders and other accredited suspension shops.

I have a 1997 z24 with a bent front frame/k member. Can it be fixed?

the front k frame can be replaced if that is where the problem is i would go to a place that has a 4 wheel alignment machine and a good alignment tech and he should be able to show you the problem as if the car is in correct alignment it should stay that way for several hundred miles if done correctly it will not go out of spec just normal driving

The left rear brake auto ajustment will not stay set i have replaced the front rotors and pads also a complete rear brake job including new spring kit and shoes and new drums. the left rear is ok for a few...

if the wheel cyclinder is bad it will either bleed off causing the brakes to feel soft or the pins could be stuck causing them to drag. also check that all the springs were replaced in the proper location or it may not be holding the adjuster where it needs to be.

Trying to correct a problem with the steering, it is pulling right and the steering wheel is shaking from left to right and it is more noticeable when in low gear. Wheels have been aligned and balanced...

if pulls right when braking, then l/h brake is faulty, the ajustments on the steering arms not even so steering bob/rack is self centering so r/h ajustment is too tinht,,wheels shaking=wheel bent, out of balance, bearings in hub worn so wheel wobbles
