ZEN Mozaic wsays "Shutting down"

My Zen player is frozen it just says "shutting down" It's been acting like this for over 24 hours what do we do?

After selecting a download you'll have to scroll down and AGREE.

There's a Quickstart User Guide link near the player's picture: select the Quickstart front and back page for this short guide.

For a manual go for a dowload of the latest Starter Pack:
Download the execute file "ZENMozaic_PCApp_E6_1_16_02.exe".
Install Creative Centrale: double click the execute file.

After installation there's a user guide with the name manual.chm under
"Hard Drive location for programs", e.g. C:\Program Files\Creative\Creative ZEN Mozaic.
The manual can also be opened from start > All programs > Creative > Creative ZEN Mozaic > Creative ZEN Mozaic User's Guide.

My pink Creative ZEN Mozaic LX is frozen! It will not move or shut down. I don't want to reset it, because all of my song, pictures and info will disappear. I am not sure what is wrong with it. Please tell...


If you reset it using a paper clip in the small reset hole, you will not lose any of your music or files that are on your mp3 player. But if it still acts up after the reset, then you may need to do a format which will erase all of the stuff from your player, but you should not need to do a format.

Memory ZEN is set to 0 in MENU>Etras>removable disk
Memory ZEN should be changed to maximum 1.5 GB
ZEN is recognized now
ZEN is ready to do the format command
ZEN can be written to for a maximum of 0.5 GB [internal memory !]
ALERT ! This 0.5 GB is the internal memory
The files written to the internal memory will be erased after
disconnecting !

4) After the update disconnect the player
5) Connect to USB 2.0 again
6) Check for the presence of the STANDARD MAPS for Music,
Pictures and Video
7) Files can be written into the STANDARD MAPS
8) Written files should be present after disconnecting
9) Files ready for mobile playing on ZEN mozaic now

Zen v plus is frozen...


On the side of this player there is a very small hole real tiny, once you find it take something that isnt metal and that will fit all the way into the hole and push it on down for at least 30 seconds this should reset the player.

Zen mozaic is frozen


Calm down and wait till it's battery will be empty. :) Then charge it in computer and then it will be not frozen.

My Zen mp3 player is stuck or frozen on "Shutting off" mode.


when off hold play down. then turn on(while holding play). then theres a recovery menu go to clean up.

Omy zen v plus is stuck on the shutting down screen, it has been for about four hours


Press the "reset" button. If it didn't work, upgrade the firmware of this product. If problems still continue, contact the Creative company.
