yea thats for windows password , this is start-up password or power up password or bios or cmos password thats locked , wanted the diagram for l755 toshiba motherboard that shows the shorting or clearing points for the bios , pulling the battery dosent get rid of password on newer laptops

You need to remove the CMOS battery for a few, Or use the CMOS jumper option if your mobo does't have a battery.

If you know the password, go into System Preferences, Accounts, and enter a new one. If you want to start without entering a password, change that setting on the Start up panel. If your computer is secure, you could simply enter a "return" instead of a password or the word "none". Put that also in the password hint dialog block. If you cannot remember your password you can restart from the restore disc and set up a new account, or, a bit more complex, start from the Single User Mode and remove the password from the command line interface. Check the web for that procedure. Try the others first.

Click the "Start" button located in the lower-left corner of your screen.

Click on "Change your Windows Password" under "User Accounts."

Click "Remove your password."

Type your current password in the field and click the "Remove Password" button.
In Windows XP

Click the "Start" button located in the lower-left corner of your screen.

Click "Control Panel" and switch to the "Category" view on the left panel.

Click on "User Accounts" and then "Remove my password."

Type your current password in the field and click the "Remove Password" button.

I change the supervisor password in the bios the model of my computer desk top is acer but in the bios, it was asking enter current password and when i type the password that i put in the supervisor...

I would Remove the Bios Password and start fresh. Once you remove it, start with a new password.

This is for Windows XP, for Vista/Win 7, the names might be different but the steps will be the same. Click on Start and then Control Panel. Click on the User Accounts link. In the pick an account to change area of the User Accounts window, click on your Windows XP user name. Choose the Remove my password link. In the text box on the next screen, enter your current password. Click the Remove Password button to confirm that you'd like to remove your account password. Now that your Windows XP account password has been deleted, you will no longer need to log on to Windows XP when your computer starts. Windows will now load all the way to your desktop automatically.

Click on Start and then Control Panel.
Click on the User Accounts and Family Safety link.
Note: If you're viewing the Large icons or Small icons view of Control Panel, you won't see this link. Simply click on the User Accounts icon and proceed to Step 4.
Click on the User Accounts link.
In the Make changes to your user account area of the User Accounts window, click the Remove your password link.
In the text box on the next screen, enter your current Windows 7 password.
Click the Remove Password button to confirm that you'd like to remove your Windows 7 password.
You can now close the User Accounts window.
Now that your Windows 7 account password has been deleted, you will no longer need to log on when your computer starts.
