Question about iRiver iFP-890 MP3 Player
After turning the unit off then turning it back on Im back at tract one. this never happened before now it won't stop
It sounds to me like the flash battery might be dead which would mean there's no charge going to the rom itself, so your settings are resetting each time you turn it off.
If you're able to open it, do so (without the battery in it of course) and check to see if there's a watch style battery in it. If there is, head over to your nearest radioshack and pick up a replacement. Try that and see if it solves your problem.
