Could be a bad heat exchanger. a crack or hole can cause the blower to effect the air pressure in the heat exchanger. How old is the unit? Does the pressure switch trip? Does the flame blow around when the blower comes on? Any of these can indicate a bad HX. Does the limit switch trip? Is it clean?

Chances are there is a problem with the heating circuit. The blinking light is representative of identifying a problem. Look on the panel to see if it explains what each blink means.

A system that has a problem with the heating circuit will always bring the blower on and it will run continuously until someone turns it off.

Also check to see if there are safety high limit reset button on the unit that can be pressed to reset. Some manufacturers install them to alert you to a problem that needs to be corrected.

Coleman Evcon model DLAS075ADC, glow plug lights, fire starts, then the blower comes on,..after ten minutes the whole system shuts down and will not re light, what is causing this?

Check to see if the pressure switch is sticking...it wont restart the furnace if it is already pulled in before the inducer motor is called to kick on.

Coleman Evcon furnace. Can i make it circulate air?

Your thermostat should have a "continuous blower" setting. Use that instead of fooling around with the A/C setting

I have a Coleman Evcon Elec Furnace with the added AC Unit. The blower works great with the AC but only on & off with the heat, what could this be?

Replace the sequencer...which is just a series of snap disc relays that are staged. The first snap disc should kick on the first element & low speed of blower. Depending on how many elements you have, determines how many snap discs are on the sequencer. It could be a 2,3,4, or 5 stack. Generally the coil is 24 volts.

Coleman mach furnace wont stay running. i turn the thermostat down until i hear it click, then i turn it back up to get the furnace to kick on.works sometimes and sometimes not. blower will always kick on...

Hi, I don't know if you are still having a problem, but it sound like the flame sensor on the unit is dirty and need to be cleaned. If it has a automatic pilot, it will have a flame sensor. Its made of porcelin with a metal rod coming out the end, laying next to the pilot flame. Just 1 screw holds it in place. Remove it and clean the tip with steel wool or a piece of sanding cloth. If you don't have this set up, I would need more info on the unit, model and serial number. You may also have a faulty thermostat, but I do believe it is a flame sensor.

Have a coleman evcon furnace that is reporting ignition failure but everything is working but the valve shuts off after 15 seconds or when the fan motor kicks in

Thanks for your question,
more than likely it would be your Flame sensor, it is more than likely dirty and needs cleaning, it is the rod that the flame impinges on when the unit lites off, if it is dirty then its a matter of removing it and cleaning it with emery cloth, or replacing it, cleaning is the cheaper alternative, just look at the front of the burners, and you will see a pencil thin rod, thats your flame sensor, should be just one 1/4 hex head screw holding it in place, a quarter inch nut driver works great for this, then remove, clean, and reinstall, make sure you have the power off while preforming this task, hope that fixes your problem. please leave a rating for this, thanks again,
