Hello, You may have this already solved by now but here goes. If your unit was running at the time of the power outage, you may have a limit switch kicked. This would cause your main blower to run non-stop with no heat. Gas furnaces has a main limit mounted on the wall of the heat chamber. This one should reset automatic when it cools down. Then you have a limit (maniual) reset on the blower casing. This is a small round device with two small wires coming off of it that goes toward the main board. If you can find this limit switch it will have a small button in between the two wires where they attach. Push in this button, if it clicks it should light the flame.There may be another limit on the burner casing. Try pushing this one also. When the power goes out when the flames are on this will build a lot of heat up near the blower causing this limit to kick off. Hope this helps.
Is the flame spreading all the way across the burners within 2 seconds? If not clean the flame tray. If it is and the flame still goes out, you have either a poor ground wire connection or the circuit board is bad. Keep your chin up and thanks for helping others.
If you are not getting any codes from the board, then the furnace is not getting a call for heat from the thermostat. A wire may have come off, the thermostat not properly wired, or a break in the stat wire. On a call for heat, you should have 24vac between W and C on the circuit board. This will let you know if you are getting a call for heat all the way back to the furnace.
This sounds like a bad heat exchanger. It is possible that you do not see the crack because the crack is closed when the heat exchanger is cold (or room temp). Allow the furnace to heat up, this will allow the expansion of the crack. Turn the power off and examine the heat exchanger while it is still hot.
Sounds like the flame sensor. But it could be the thermostat. Is the furnace standing pilot or electronic spark or hot surface ignition. I would start by checking thermostat. Turn power off to furnace take thermostat off wall and take wires marked r & w and connect them together. Turn power back on if furnace works then change out thermostat.Most eclectronic ignition Furnaces have a flam sensor, You could take flame sensor out and clean it up with steel wool or wire brush. Looks like 4 flashes might be high limit fault on this furnace. (I don't have a manual for this furnace, just searched online for the code meaning) Is the unit running flame at all? Is the unit running flame for a while then shutting flame off before desired temp is reached? Does the main air fan turn on to circulate air through your diffusers? Does it feel like the unit has much air flow out of the diffusers if the fan is running? Is your air filter clean? If it is infact your high limit switch, it is usually caused by not having enough airflow through the furnace and overheating occurs.
