Question about Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX Personal Web Camera
I installed the Microsoft LifeCam 3000 on a Dell, running Windows XP. I cannot get the audio to work with AIM. When I go into Settings and then enhanced IM, the only options for camera and microphone are "Default." I can clearly see the other person and they can see me but there is no audio on either end. Is there a better camera for AIM or can I get this to work somehow? Please help!!
I actually used your question to solve this problem! My LifeCam was showing in the drop down boxes and I set the mic to the cam instead of default, closed and restarted AIM and it was working just fine after that. The problem is not with the LifeCam - it is with the AIM settings. Hope this helps
