Question about Fisher and Paykel Fisher Paykel Intuitive Eco Washer IWL15
I had same problem and followed starcee's advice on howtomendit.com
I unscrewed top cover, then unscrewed and lifted up the grey computer cover. The balance switch is underneath on the right with a yellow and white wire coming off.
I removed switch from clip and then removed the wires/clips from contacts. There was definitely corrosion on the contacts. I soaked switch overnight in vinegar. Then rinsed with water. Then dried switch out for day.
Put it all back together and am now on second load of washing.

Error 43 ( lights 3,5,7 & 8 and some beeping)
(Make sure all power is unplugged)
I popped off the two screws holding down the controls. Then undid the screw holding down the grey box with the main control board. Under this in the right hand corner is the out of balance switch. The small microswitch can be eased out. This is part# 30 in the manual (see link below). My one had corrosion and the switch was gummy.
I then bypassed switched to check, all good. Now I need to fix switch (vinegar method) or buy new....around $30.00
Thanks for the posts

Code 43 is an out of balance switch problem, i found mine was just sticking, if you pull it out (under the electronic control unit, under the top panel) you may be able to find out if its stuck or if it needs a new one, you could possibly find one from another model. hope this helps

The vinegar solution works! Even though I was sure my machine was really out of balance due to washing one brand new towel in it, I tried this trick and now my machine works perfectly. I've done three loads since then.
A great way I found to dry the switch is to seal it in an airtight container with a lot of those silica dessicant sachets you get in bottles of pills or new bags.
