I installed a SonicWall CSM 3200 (content filter) and now the WSUS will not download new updates. I've tried adding all the Windows update sites but that did not work. I'm getting an error about the HTTP byte-range requests. The content filter does not seem to have a setting for it.

Re: WSUS will not download updates
Are you behind a firewall performing some kind of deep packet inspection/AV/Spyware removal? It may be corrupting your HTTP Range headers during BITS transfers on the client. I experienced a similar error through a SonicWall with GatewayAV (no proxy, just the Sonic) and had to enable HTTP byte-range requests. This can happen to both server and client BITS downloads...

Therefore, we recommend that you only add a language pack to your computer if you will use the language pack.
Click OK, and then click Install updates to start the download and installation process.
