Before cooking, rinse rice in warm water until water becomes clear. Then place
the rice in the inner pot with fresh water.
Take care to use proper water to rice ratios.
Use a 1:1 ratio of rice to water plus ½ cup of water for white rice and a 1:1
ratio plus ¾ cup of water for brown rice.

My Aroma instructions say for 2 cups of rice to add 2 1/2 cups water, for 3 cups add 3 1/2 cups of water etc. (add the same amount of water as rice plus and additional 1/2 cup of water)
Add an additional 3/4 cups of water for brown or wild rice.

that's very easy.. if you wand your rice to be dry, then use the same exact number of cups of water with the rice.. example,
2 cups of rice + 2 cups of water = dry rice
if you want it to be soft, add additional 1 cup of water. example
2 cups of rice + 2 cups of water = soft rice
