Question about KitchenAid KMTT400-SS 4-Slice Toaster
We have been toasting yummy cinnamon bread, and the sugar residue has melted onto the bars that the bread sits on. How do I get this off? I've tried gently scraping it with a knife, but there is still some bread/sugar goop stuck on the metal part that raises the bread (lifter?). How do I get it off?
Use a damp cloth tied on a brush/stick to wipe the sugar residue off the bars. If it still does not help, then soak the cloth in lemon juice and scrub on the bars as it would also wipe out the sugar and would not affect the working of the toaster.
