There is no problem with your phone's main speaker from where you can hear your ringer, tones and media files, including calls put on loudspeaker. The problem is the ear piece speaker of your phone.

Your regular speaker for your phone on the inside when not having the person on your speaker may be blown or came disconnected, also their's some similar problems on some other solved problem you may want to check.

The person I am calling cannot hear me speaking although I can hear them clearly, all other sounds on the phone work perfectly

Have you tried calling a different number to see if it is a problem on their end? If the issue still persists, try changing the angle at which you hold your phone; essentially hold the microphone (at the end of the phone) closer to your mouth. Try to aviod windy areas, and enclosed metal areas.

My eirpiece does not work at all. it seems like there maybe a problem or it is a setting i dont know about. whenever making a phone call the person on the other line can hear me but i cant hear them unless...

The problem with your phone is that the earpiece on your phone is bad that is why you cannot hear the party calling you or hear anything while you call.

All you need to do is to replace the earpiece on your phone and you will see that you can hear whoever you are talking to on your phone.

Change the earpiece on your phone and you will see that the problem is solved. meanwhile, you can keep using the headset pending the time you will replace the earpiece.

Take care.

Go to systems "Phone" and make sure that TTY/TTD mode is not turned on. This can cause the phone to have the symptoms you describe.
