Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1: Windows
I have bought a new hp computer with windows vista. My Lexmark all in one X4250 will fax and photocopy but when I go to copy from the computer, it only copies 1/8 page, stops and then spits it out. The computer tells me copying is complete.
I have downloaded the right lexmark programme as I have rung Lexmark so many times. They said to configure the Lexmark entries with the rhythm.
I have taken off my antivirus, but it doesn't make any difference.
I rang windows, who said it is hp's problem as they are under licence as the programme was on the computer when I bought it.
I have rung hp many times who say they can't do anything as it is not compatable. I have been trying to fix this for a month. The lexmark was only bought last year and works fine with Windows 2000.
I am at breaking point as know will help me or take responsibilty.
The computer is still only a month old.
hp said to quote t1138517.
Please, can you help me, as I don't know where else to go
I know you said you have the latest drivers but just confirm you do with that link, I checked the compatibility and it is good with Vista so you should not be experiencing any issues. Try doing a complete uninstall and printer reset then running that downloaded driver, only plug in the printer to the computer when requested.
