Speaker on Nokia 720 is not working any more. no ringer, no music just no more sound. However headphones are ok.

The grey first thing I suggest that you do is go to settings, sounds and make sure all the volumes are all the way up.

If the volumes for ringer, messages and alarms are all the way up, and no sounds comes from the main speakers, then it's probably a hardware issue, meaning that you might need to change the speaker.

Sound coming through right headphone, but not through left. Sound also not coming through left speaker. Help?

are you adjusting sound through the windows controller or the application you're playing music through? there are a few things that could affect that, there's also the actual sound setup where you can change your setup i.e. surround sound, single speaker, headphones etc

What does the orange light mean on your sony pulse headset? And why doesent make noises when its turend on?

check the cables to the base-transmitter station. If they are firmly connected or try to replace them. Most of the wireless headphones of some more advanced design detects incoming signal and switches to mode on wich indicates with another color when the sound dissapears the headphones detects no sound and goes into a powersaving mode. Usually the headphone itself doesn't fault very often, cause they are battery powered and the powersupply isn't wavering like the powertransformer to the base-station due to the irregular power from the ac outlets, wich is why any electronics should be connected to a surgearrester list.
Another thing to check for is there any sound coming from the tv/game connector, try to connect a nother speaker assembly or headphone or if the connector is of a low signal type, a amplifier with speakers or headphone make sure you don't have to much between where the sound comes from and the headphones. Let me know if some of my advice helps you!

Hello! I have a sound problem. When I us my headphones and plug them out my speakers won't sound. After a few restarts the speakers will come back to life, but if I plug in the headphones and plud them...

This is a setting issue ..and it is from the audio driver..When you plug the headphones it is normal to cut out the general sound..and work only on the headphones..But in the moment you unplug them a window should appear to ask you to select the 2 speaker out or laptop mode..
If this do not appear it means some changes were made in the settings of the sound manager and this is the cause ..basically you force it to headphone mode...but after a few restarts it sees the there is no jack plugged and ask for the normal mode again or takes it automatically ..Try to reinstall the audio driver ..this should fix any issues related with it ..If the thing goes on ..it may be the case of a damaged plug on the headphones out-let ..basically does not detects the jack being unplugged ..and you have to see whats wrong ..or change the plug if you think its necessary ..Or just plug and unplug a few times when you remove it ..maybe the contact its poor ..and does not sense the action being done ..
if you do not have the driver see this one

if you are having problems with your sound
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
hope this helps

The picture is fine but the sound is not working. I push the volume and you can see where the volume level is going up. Have tried turning it off and unplugging it to try to reset it but nothing has...

Hello
Picture being Ok, and no sound output, means there is some problem inside the sound output circuit of your TV. It may be due to a speaker fault or an IC fault. You have to find out which of these has fault.
You just place your ear very close to the speaker side, and switch on your TV with its AC mains On-Off switch, not by remote control handset. Listen carefully, whether there is any sound output of any form comes out of it or not. If there is no sound at all you can determine that the speaker may be out, not in all cases. If you have the habit of listening your TVs audio by using a headphone, continious in-out action could damage your TVs headphone socket. If the headphone sockets' contact got damaged, no sound output will come from it to the speakers. Suppose you can hear the sound through your headphones but not throuhg speaker, means that its change over contact has some trouble. You just do this first. Insert a headphone pin into your TVs headphone socket, if provided, al listen to it for sound. If there is no sound from headphone also, Sound output Ic iside your TV has damaged, or not getting proper voltage to it. If there is sound through the headphone, and not from TVs speaker, trouble is related either speaker or the above said socket.
If all the above has no effect, that is no sound either from headphone, of from the speaker, you should go into the circuit board of your tv to get the fault.
Open your TVs back cover, and trace for the sound output section. There will be an Ic used as sound output. Check whether it getting heated some time after switch on the TV. If it overheats without any sound output, it is damaged Desolder it out from the circuit board, go for a same type and number, replacing it will solve the problem. If it doesn't overheat, or no heat at all, check its input voltage. In some cases, loose soldering points on the legs of Ic may also the cause. Check it too. Ok.
If you need any more clarification, ask me through Fixya. Give
a brief explanation about what you have done so far also.

Left headphone speaker and left speaker both are not working.

Probably, unless there is another setting that you have missed. Have you loaded the correct drivers for the sound card?

There is no sound comes from my computer, speakers are good, there is no mute.

Just to be sure, boot up your laptop and go into the BIOS. I think by pressing F10 it should take you into the BIOS.

Reset the BIOS to factory default in there, save changes and exit.

After it gets into windows, see if you have sound, if not then reinstall your sound drivers for the laptop.

If after that you still don't have sound then that means there is no power coming out of the power connector for the speaker wires and that means the motherboard would have to be replaced.

New headphones

Try plugging them into the jacks on the back of the PC case. Make sure you connect the right connector to the right jack. If this works, then there is a problem with the front jacks. Sometimes they are left unattached when the PC is assembled.

Also, check in control panel under sounds and make sure you have a sound scheme selected. If it says no sound scheme, select one, the click NO if Save sound scheme prompt comes up.
