Question about Insignia Bluetooth Wireless Headphones with USB Bluetooth Adapter

2 Answers

I obught s NS-BTHDST device 2 weeks ago, set it up and used it just fine up until today. Now the device pairing is asking for a Bluetooth Security Code... something I do not remeber it asking before. I no longer have the instructions that it came with. What is it talking about? How can I find it?

I can't find the pairing codes for my ns-bthdst

the code on the PC side should be 4 zero's, there is no code to set on the headphones side of things, just power the headphones on and on the PC set to serch for new devices.

Insignia NS-BTHDP ok with phone, pairs with PC but can't connect

Make sure the headphones are set as "default" under Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Sound>Manage Audio Devices - same for microphone if you're using it for online speech.

How do you pair your Insignia Headphones/ Headset with a PS3? It is called an insignia NS-BTHDP/NS-BTHDST. In the instructions it only talks about pairing it with a computer. Can someone help me?

Go to Accessory Settings on your PS3.Then go to mange bluetooth devices and hit register new device. while doing this take your headset and put it in discovery mode. You do this by holding the power button and the it alternates between blue and red lights. It should work after that.

To test it go to audio device settings and see if it shows up.

Bluetooth NS-BTHDST won't turn on

1- Plug the charger into a power outlet and connect the headset
2- Press the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons at the same time for resetting the device.

To Insignia: Please provide a line covering/linking this problem in Troubleshooting section of the manual, too. I found it in the Resetting section on page 22.
