I have found Ckt Board "D" but can not find IC 8001 or IC8002. I found the fuses and they are good.

I can not find IC 8001 or IC 8002. I looked to see if they were mounted on the silver heat sink and there is nothing mounted on it. All that I have found was C and i'm guessing that C stands for capasitor, but have not found anything labeled IC. I have see a big black piece mounted on the board, there are two red wires that come out of it and runs to a different part of the TV.

I have just changed IC 8001 and 8002 like you have asked. The TV still has the panaramic veiw. Is there any other ideas? I was ESD safe while solding, and use a magnified glass to make sure that i didn't have any solder runs. Any more help would be great.

I have found the PS's that you are talking about. How do you check them to make sure that they are good? If need to replace can you tell me a good store to purchase with part number.

There are 6 pico fises near above ICs and these fuses should be checked. Fuses are numbered as PS8001 to PS8006

Best was to test PS is at least one pin should be out of circuit and PS should have no resistance (0 ohms)
pico fuse would be available in Part Store.

Hi i have a sony kp-61v75 and there is little white lines all across the screen what could this be

The problem might be with its video output voltage. If you wish to get more details, check this link. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Selecting the view option, either to Mosaic / Time slide, can be selected by the drop-down list, at the top left of the display window, will make surf easy. You can also do a search, by type in the brand name/model number/IC used, in the search box at the top right of the display window.

I have a old 61 inch tv the lens are out. Are these lens still available numbers on them are 646376-1 delta 24 passed 08121490 by U S Precision Lens inc Cinn. Oh.

The lens isnt the problem the tubes(CRTs) are what go bad. Whats your model number I may be able to help you out. The other site I work at has a huge inventory of used picture tubes that are all in good working order. Finding new tubes for anything older than 97 models is almost impossible. But post your model number and I should be able to help you out.
