Gemini 676 pro platinum hum on right channel

This mixer has been fine until today, when i switched on there is a hum on the right channel, this is even with no leads except power lead plugged in. It cane be heard through the headphones. this hum seems to get quieter if you increase the cue volume. however the right channel l.e.d display has 2 leds lit constantly whilst the left channel has none.

SOURCE: On/Off not lit when plugged in

There is help for this in the user manual. Possible solutions I would try:

1. Make sure your source sound (TV, amp etc) is up high enough - if the sound is too low the headphones won't detect a signal.

2. Try changing the channel (the switch on the bottom left of the cradle base) and pressing the "Tune" button on your headphones. Try all three positions, pressing "Tune" at least 3 times in each position.

3. Take out batteries & turn off base, leave for 30 secs, reassamble and try step 2 again.

Should all work ok. I've been using mine for over a year and they're great!

Hi.

You can download the manual for your motherboard here.

Inside you will find information of where does each connector go. Each connector on the case has a marking on it (HDD, PWR, RST or similar) which stands for hard disk LED, power button, reset button and so on. Connect it to the right place, and problem is solved.

If you need any further assistance, feel free to ask.

SOURCE: No sound from the TV when the headphones are plugged in.

if you have a stereo unit(am+fm reciever) that has output to speakers, connect the out jack of the tv to input on back of stereo unit(aux in or cd input) then you can have output to headphone and speakers also.

My gemini cdmp 6000 cue button is stuck it will not come out of cue. i need to hold cue button down in order for it to play

You need to take it to the shop and get the switch replaced. It shouldn't cost more than an hour's labor/bench charge and the cost of the switch. Depending on your market probably $75-100.

How do I open my mixer to repair the mic input jack

Gemini mixers are a hassle. You should take out all the phillips screws on the front, see if there4 are any on the side panels, and then see if it comes apart. If not, go for the screws on the back panel (the side and front /back ones). Be careful not to take out the one for the transformer (usually a big one or a nut). Peace.

Why mixer turns on but no sound come out, just a weird interfearance noise any ideas?

Be sure the inputs are OK and the amplifier is also working. It is probably the internal power supply but that is just a best guest.

Clip light on Multimix 12 Firewire always on

I have just gotten the same problem. In my case it worked fine for almost three years and one today I turned it on and this loud humming noise + the red clip light always on appeared. When I hit solo button on channels 9-16 the humming disappeares but the light would not go away. With solo on humming get louder on the mic channels individually (1-8). I am puzzled... No solution so far
