My numark icdx is displaying HOST NG why???

Press the "Menu" button to set the lock code for your JVC TV. A padlock icon will appear on the menu display.

Press "Zero" to access the lock code function then use the left and right arrows to select the four-digit number for your code. Use the up and down arrows to move to the next area of the display.

Select the up or down arrow to finish your lock code then use the left or right arrow to save your lock code settings and exit the menu. You can return to this display if you forget your four-digit lock code and set another code.

Write your four-digit lock code down and keep it in a safe, private area.

Select the locked TV channel you desire to watch or want to unlock. A message will appear on the display requesting you to enter your lock code to unlock the channel.
Unlock your JVC TV by entering your lock code on the 10-key pad. The message "Invalid Lock Code!" will appear on the screen if you enter the wrong lock code.

Select "TV" from the menu then select "V-Chip" from the drop-down list on the screen. "Please Input Password" will appear on the screen.

Enter your four-digit password by selecting numbers on the 10-pad that appears on the V-Chip menu display or your remote control. Create a new password if you forget it by unplugging your TV power cord from the outlet then reconnect the power cord. This procedure resets your password to "0000." Enter four numbers for your new password using the keypad on the screen or your remote and select the arrow to advance to the next number. Press "OK" on your remote or select "OK" on the screen to set your new password.
Unlock a TV rating or TV channel by selecting "MPAA" or "TVPG" from the V-Chip menu. Use the up or down arrows to select the locked rating then select "OK" on the display or press the "OK" button on your remote control to unlock it. The MPAA represents the U.S. Motion Picture Association of America rating system, such as "NC-17," meaning not intended for viewers 17 years or younger.

1) Select the following service mode COPIER>TEST>NETWORK>PING, and select PING.
2) Enter the IP addressof your PC using the numeric keys on the control panel, and press OK.
3) Press the start key.
- OK is displayed if Ping succeeds, but NG is displayed if it ends in failure.

Perform this procedure only when connecting the machine to networks.
If the machine fails to be connected to networks, any of the following causes is probable.
a. Connection failure between networks and the machine
b. TCP/IP setting failure of the machine
c. User network failure
d. Main controller PCB failure
The detailed check methods are as follows.

Checking with Loopback Address
you can check whether TCP/IP settings of
the machine are appropriate by executing Ping with this address.
1) Enter the loopback address (127.0.0.1) in PING.
- If NG is displayed, check TCP/IP settings of the machine again, and re-execute Ping.
- If OK is displayed, perform the next check.
Checking with Local Host Address
The local host address is the IP address of the machine. Since the local host address returns in response to the network controller by executing Ping with the address, you can check whether the network controller (main controller PCB) is in a normal condition.
1) Enter the IP address of the machine in PING.
If NG is displayed, take the following actions, and re-execute Ping.
- IP address error of the machine: Check to see again if the IP address settings of the machine are appropriate. Ask the system administrator whether the allocated IP address is valid.
- Failure in the main controller PCB: Replace the main controller PCB
If OK is displayed, a cause may be user's network environment. Inform the system administrator of the current situation, and ask for measures.

I was just looking at a Total Control...

The unit will not do anything until it sees the host application running on your machine which is Trakor LE or Pro.

Install and launch Trakor then see if it works for you.

You may need to plug the unit into another USB port depending on what else you have plugged in.

Minimum System Requirements (MAC):

• Mac OSX 10.4 or higher
• G4 1.5 GHz or Intel Core Duo 1.6GHz
• 512MB RAM

If you have no screen on, then i think you might need to replace the unit and hopefully it is still under warranty. But if not try this, turn the unit on and look very closely at the screen, change the angles and see if you can see a very faint image, if you can, then the unit is working but the backlight display is not working. If it is the backlight display it could be caused by something as simple as a loose connection, or it could need replacement. Hope this helps

I would like to know if it possible to use my Numark DXM09 mixer ... with two Numark ICDX players and use Numark Cue software

Did you format your hard drives thru the menu on the deck? If not you may need to format the hard drives first and then plug them in. *NOTE DO NOT FORMAT DRIVES THRU YOUR COMPUTER* format the drives thru the decks in the utility menu.

best used with virtual dj..... go into configuration-sound settings... the controller will not activate until the music software is running.. on the sound set up its straight forward.....

write cd's to strict iso compliance,

i found this solved most of my ICDX skip issues, also ensure that you have upgraded the firmware to at least 4.5.. i found ver 5 works will for flash drives but not for cd's

i downgraded from 5 to 4.5 for cd use / playback its remarkably different.
