How badly is it bowed on both sides? if it is too much. ther is a fuse resistor that is gone bad near the coil in the east west section. you need to replace that. if it is not too much..you need to get into the service mode to fix that..good luck

Go to menu then setup see if you see convergence ,if you do not then you have a blowed fuse FL231 it will be on your deflection board over on the right side of your FBT flyback Transfomer there is 3 in a roll small brown rectrangler looking caps but they are fuses it will be the one in the middle.
The convergence board that you replaced will not correct the issue that your describing as your model has the convergence amp circuits located on the Deflection board. You would need the deflection board which is available at the following link. There is 2/3 boards on bottom first board to left is the Deflection board next to it is the SSB board it has the tuners and video jacks on it. Deflection Board has 3 fuses right in a roll on right side of FBT Flyback Transfomer (FL231) it will be middle fuse 400ma they do not look like fuses they are small brown rectigular you can pull top off of them with needle nose plyers to check fuses on top.
The convergence Ics need replaced. In Hitachi, resistors and sometimes a coil needs replaced as well. The convergence/deflection PCB is available, but, the cost of that board is higher than having a servicer come to your home and repair the unit to component level.
If you are not familar with this circuit, then call a servicer. Have them replace both ICs not just one. Make sure they are repairing to component level and not replacing the board.
