If you have a belt driven kenmore,it time to replace it,,they where phased out,,so if you can get the parts i will help..open top with putty knife,,push on the two clips..take tub ring off ..take off agitator,,losen spanner nut,,remove tub ..now you have to turn unit so tha back panel faces you and lean the front agaisnt the wall..remove panel,,now drop the transmission about a fraction of a in,,the transmission bolt to your left looking form back has a spacer remove this bolt and the spacer remember let transmission come down some but dont let it drop..take your belt and put on from that spacer that you removed..if you got this far were almost home wedege the belt over the clutch it will be a thight squeeze..but use a big screw driver or a small pry bar,,remember give yourself as much play in with transmission drop with out taking it out,,just reverse to re assmb,,,,

Kenmore Series 80 Washer Drips and Spin Cycle Sometimes Has Low Torque

Does it leak every time it's run, or only occasionally? It could be that the belt on the drain pump is going bad or is loose, so it works some times but not always. Could be that the belt broke or the drain failed, so it will always leak from now on. It's hard to say without actually taking it apart and having a look

Based on the information you provided, you need to replace the wig wag on the unit. No joke, that is what the part is called. Here is a link to the part to order.

My kenmore series 80 model 11020892 fills with water --will not agitate or spin or empty water makes a terrible noise I need help!

Well the first thing is to check and see if the belt is broke on the drum (take the back off) or the belt is slipping ,hence the noise .Not a major deal but that is what it sounds like and that is good news because that is an easy fix. Get model and your nearest appliance store will have one. I probably won't empty water cause the other two cycles weren't working ,I'm pretty sure its the belt from what you have told me.Good luck! Oh and by the way it comes offf easy just undo the springs and well you'll see easy!

Hello, I have a Heavy duty 80 series topload washer, model# 110.92380200, and the top section of the agitator does not rotate. The bottom turns, but the top does not. If you have any ideas on how I...

This is usually the agitator dogs have worn out or broke. These are very inexpensive and easy to replace. Here is a video this will walk you thru checking and replacing the agitator dogs . You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations of your specific model. Not all models are available. All parts come with installation instructions.
