Test it by moving the bass and treble up and down. If the buzzing seems disappear at lower volumes with little bass and appears from one side only, it is probably a blown speaker on that side.

If the buzzing is apparent even at very low volumes or from both sides, it is probably an audio board issue. I am not certain if your model has a separate audio board or that functionality resides on the main board.

It sounds like the transformer laminations are vibrating and pushing the top apply pressure stopping it. Some buzzing is normal.

SONY A350 when turned on and off makes loud vibrating sound

Hi, I have exactly the same problem. The vibrating sound happens when the camera is turned-on or off. It looks like the camera is auto-deploying the anti-dust functionality and the vibration tries to shake-off the dust on the sensor. But I tried cleaning up the insides.. no luck. Would appreciate any tips on resolving this issue.. thanks, KP

Loud Buzz upon starting

sounds like just a vibration caused by cols hitting the frame perhaps, sometimes a pull from underneath the unit on the condenser coils will rectify the problem(id give a pretty quick tug, . unit could just be settling into the floor or the house settling around it, vibrations are definitely annoying but usually no need for alarm

Sound at power on

The sound you are hearing is the degausing coil which will vibrate for a second when the tv is turned on. This part demagnetizes the picture tube and this sound is really quite normal. Depending on the position of this coil it may vibrate against the front cabinet of the tv and may sound loud at times. If this really bothers you then you need to have the rear cover removed and have it repositioned a bit do it won't vibrate so loudly. Or you can enjoy the buzz for the short time it happens and not worry about it.
