Question about Zanussi ZDQ895 Electric Double Oven
I have an older (mid-80s) model Hotpoint double oven (Model #RK767GOD2BG) and I know that the thermostat is off because I usually have to increase the cooking temp. on most recipes (and I check food doneness frequently). How do I fix the thermostat? Having trouble finding the manual anywhere online for this model.
Hello, there is no fixing the thermostat although some of the older thermostats could be calibrated by using a very small flat head screwdriver in the shaft of the thermostat if there is no opening for a tiny screwdriver in the shaft then it cannot be calibrated. If you have to change the thermostat contact your local parts department have the model # handy if the original is not available ask about universal oven control replacement parts. Good Luck
