Hello my friend! my dvd player did the same problem. and i solved this just with a screw driver:) if your dvd player s guaranty finished!! switch off the player and open the screws which r 2 on sides and 3 behind the dvd. open the cover and take off the two group of cables on the chipset which are on the mechanical part side! (mechanical side: dvd driver) than plug the cables again to their socket. its done! close all and go on ! i hope this will solve your problem as mine...

When I turn on my Sony DVP-SR200P DVD player and press the eject button it's turns the DVD player off.

turn on first the dvd player and wait to read a disc inside if no disc inside the tray it will say disc error. if the unit doesn't turn off, eject now the the cd tray. if get turn off, remove the cover then check for an stuck up gear or obstruction in the cd tray assembly. you can check also the power supply board which may have unusual parts like bulged or burnt component parts.

How to eject a cd in a dell XPS m1330 when the hardis has crashed and the disk inside isn't a operatindg system disc

Straighten a paper clip and insert it into a tiny hole below the CD drive tray. Push the paper clip gently into this hole and the CD tray will pop out slightly. Pull the tray out to the fully opened position so you can remove the disc.

I've recently bought a Sony DVD/ CD player DVP-SR650P. Its accessoies includes a remote RMT-D187P. The remote does not have an open/close/eject button. How to eject the disc tray with the above DVD player...

There is no eject etc button on the remote control because what use would it be? To insert or change a disc, the operator would have to be in reach of the drawer with a disc to hand.

My Cd Player in my car wont take in any discs

Hello you probably have one stuck inside use a flash light press eject and see with your flash light if a disc is surfacing sometimes they get stuck and need a little bit of pres-wading.if this is not the situation perhaps your cd carriage is stuck in eject position if so you will need to have a service technician repair it.

My disc drive won't eject.

Hello,
If there is CD/DVD stuck inside:look for a small hole on the face of the drive and insert a paper clip, and press a bit, the drive will open.
If that does not do the trick, look for an icon on the systray (where the clock is shown) . It represents a square inside which there is disk. The tooltip (bubble) should read Optical Drive Power (on or off). If you click on it it shows a two item menu Power On Power Off with a tick mark near one of them. Click Power ON.

Hope it helps.

Wii console will not eject disk

I managed to eject a WII disc out manually very easily:
- Disconnect the drive
- You see the white plastic mechanism on your right side and the wheel connected to the motor
- turn the wheel towards the back side of the drive while pushing the half inch square plastic piece towards the left.
You will see the disc coming out while you are turning the wheel.
