SOURCE: Car driven from AZ to TX without issue. Car sat 3 days in parents driveway. Car won't start. Car turns over but doesn't fire.

IT SOUNDS DUMB BUT YOU SHOULD HAVE TWO KEYS, IF YOU DO TRY WITH THE OTHER KEY. IF NOT BUY A SPARE KEY THEY TEND TO STOP COMMUNICATING WITH THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE AND WONT START

My 2009 Chevy Impala LS wont start it has 79 mi in it what's the problem could it be because it is real cold outside

Do you live in a place like Alaska? Do your neighbors have the same issue with their cars? You might just need a new battery.

While driving, headlights dim and radio stops working.

Our '91 Integra can start and perform for a whole week then randomly dies at intersections. Symptoms are dim headlights and stuff like yours. One would think it was alternator or battery right? No. I took battery in to Walmart to their diagnostic station by the paint department. The diagnostic machine refused to charge the battery because it had a full charge. The battery checked out fine.

Do you understand what this means? This means that the alternator has been charging the battery all week that Daughter B has been driving to work-school-home-boyfriend-etc. Yet it died with dead battery symptoms. This is driving me crazy.

So, I removed the battery then put it back in and the car started and the car ran like a scalded cat and I got home. Next morning- Daughter B tries to go to school and car won't start.?! I apply battery charger set to 'Quick start' and started the car. I removed charger and applied my DC voltmeter. Voltage at idle was 12.5V showing alternator is charging. Put finger on throttle cable and rev engine and voltage goes up to 13v but no higher showing that the voltage regulator is working.

What we have is a problem unrelated to the expansion and contraction of heated versus cooled parts. The pretty much rules out bad physical wiring connections. Without more knowledge on this subject I would just have to say the car is demon possessed and that I should buy a new used car with different problems eh?

Daughter has a 2003 gmc envoy......issues of stalling and no power were addressed by test at autozone....tps code 220 came up so tps was replaced...truck runs a little better but still had a lack of...

It is very rare for the PCM (computer) to fail on these vehicles. The vehicle needs to be scanned by professional scan tool that can monitor the various sensors, fuel pressure, etc. Live data should be recorded when the problem is occurring. Above all, parts should not be changed without proper diagnosis.

I jsut bought this 93 ford escort lx station wagon

If this is a manual transmission the clutch has burned out, it may need to be replaced, if you do not do your own mechanic work I would suggest that you take it to a good local repair shop and have them check it out. If this is an automatic I would still suggest the same, but the actual problem could be more complex. Hope this helps, let me know.
