English/korean keyboard We have a Korean student staying with our family and we are wondering if we can switch our key board back and forth form english to korean. Or perhaps we can set a second keyboard on the same cpu one in english and the other in korean so that we can have our student type out in korean and we can type out in english. what do you think? I need to be able to get amanual for my comfort keyboard 4000model 1045 please help.

The only thing that resembles a manual that I could find is here. Looks like more of a quick start guide. On Microsoft's page I could only find reference to the combo on their Korean site.

I was able to find the manual there, which is the same that is listed above. The only other thing that appears to be useful is the data sheet which can be viewed here.

Hope this helps

What have I hit that is giving me french letters instead of english?

Not sure on that one but, go to your control panel and reset language to english. Also do this for key board if your key board has a language setting. Then you will be up and running again.

I have an ultrathin keyboard sent to me by a friend in Korea. It has Korean and english characters, but no instructions on how to change the font from english to korean. Is a driver needed?

Go to the control panel > Region and Language > go through the tabs and change all setting to English (United States). Hit apply and ok.

Gateway keyboard types wrong characters

Same keyboard, same problem for almost 2 years now, and just now figured out how to fix it!! Try a simple left ctrl-shift, your language tab up top will switch between US English/Canadian English/Canadian multilingual, or whatever you set it for. I occasionally want the alternate characters applied, so now I can switch back and forth easily. You may need to set the language tab to your preferred settings. Hope this helps!
