Is there are realtek audio driver for asus p5kpl cm motherboard???

Let's go to Asus Support, and see;

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_775/P5KPLCM/#specifications

Audio -> VIA VT1708B / 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC

It's a VIA audio chipset.

The answer is NO

[ Chip and Chipset are slang terms for I.C.
Integrated Circuit,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integrated_Circuit

Driver. Sort for Device driver

Driver: A small piece of software that allows the Operating System to communicate with a device.

The device is the audio chipset.
You didn't state what O/S you are using.

Drivers are written for devices by the device manufacturer, when specifically referring to an audio chipset.

What would make you think it should have a Realtek audio chipset?

Computer specs: System: Microsoft WindoWs XP Professional Version 2002 Registered to: sahanna 55274-645-2775716-23875 Computer: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU...

Hello,
You may want to check the output devices. Either the speakers or the audio plug are broken.
There's also the possibility that you might have got the wrong audio card... This device should match exactly the specifications of the motherboard, which makes it an almost irreplaceable computer part.
Good Luck!

Hello i have a tsoshiba tecra laptop and i wanted to find out if i have sound or not and were is it located to see if i need a sound card or not

Hello
Dear Friend...
You can check your Device Manager under My Computer / Right Click / Properties / Hardware Tab / Device Mgr

You need to check the Control Panel / Sound and Audio Devices / Audio Tab / Sound Playback option.....

if it's greyed out then u dont have a Sound card or the card is corrupt....
if no internal sound card is present or if it's not working then u have this alternative....buy a " USB Sound Adaptor" and connect it to the USB port and connect the speaker sound jack to the sound port in this adaptor....u will get back the sound....also keep in mind that u " may " have to disable onboard sound in BIOS, u may also have to make changes in the Control Panel / Sound and Audio Devices / Audio Tab / Sound Playback option... Click the drop down button and select the "USB Audio Devices/Headset"

You can get this in Ebay for $1 to $4 or google it to locate a place near u......

This is the one i am refering to(I bought it in Ebay for 1$)....u can buy something similar also....there are many available, all of them are made in China, as it's USB enabled plug and play, connect it to your PCs USB port....you will not need any software or driver to install it....Winodws will auto install it and show it under the Device Manager / Sound Audio and Games Ctrlr as told above and will also show it under Control Panel / Sound and Audio Devices

If you find this solution useful please leave a feedback and rating to this solution.

Regards....
All the best, my dear friend..9dbeb35.jpg

Audio probleam

Hello.
The driver for that, should be included in the sound device drivers
Look on the website of your motherboard manufacturer and get the updated drivers for that board.
But if you can't get it for any reason, be worry only if you are a musician, MIDI is stand for Musical Instrument Digital Interface, and its used to connect musical instruments like a Keyboard for example.
Its used too for Game Controllers( joistick for example).

Hope this help.

K7s5a sound driver

Hi, Code 10 refers to device not starting which can mean either hardware failure, corrupt drivers or wrong driver. The K7S5A uses either an SiS 7012_111 or an CMedia AC97 depends on the audio chipset installed in your motherboard version. Google for the necessary drivers and try which ever will work. Good luck and kind regards.
