Question about JVC HR-XVS20 DVD Player/VCR
I HAVE BROUGHT A HDD CAMCORDER AND TRANSFERRED EVERTHING TO SEVERAL DIFFERENT DISCS BUT NONE WILL PLAY ON THIS DVD PLAYER. WHAT DISCS WOULD BE O.K.
Assuming you are not having an actual hardware problem with the DVD player or an incompatible format (e.g. HD video & non-HD player); you should know that when you write video to DVD-R or DVD+R discs, you have to 'finalize' the discs on the creating drive for them to be playable on a regular DVD player. (Note a finalized disc can no longer be written to. If the player can read DVD-Ram (and your creating drive can write to them), DVD-Ram discs do not need to be finalized.)
