Question about Whirlpool GU2400XTP Built-in Dishwasher
I am locked out of cycle with clean light blinking green and cannot find my manual, dishwasher is about 1 year old. Is there a sequence to break this cycle? I turned off power for 60 seconds to no avail.
then cancel..... wait until 2 minute cycle is done. open and close the door and make sure it is closed.
Then run another cycle. saw this on another post and it worked for me. They said that if it did not reset then either the latch has a bad connection or the heater for the water is bad.. it must register that the door is closed in order to actually start the heater for the water. I hope this helps you as well as it helped me.

Try the door switch first. This is a very easy fix if it is it. Otherwise you will kick yourself for not trying it sooner if it turns out to be the problem, trust me I know. Push in on the door when it is closed to close it tighter. If you here a click, and then another click when you release the pressure, then the switch could be your problem. Even if you don't hear a click, try this fix first. There is a double switch in the latch and the one for the heating element can be left off when the rest of the machine is on. I had this problem. I bent down the thin metal tab that the door latches onto. Bending it just a little fixed my problem. Don't bend down too much or you will keep the door from shutting properly.

you have to hit heated dry and normal and toggle these till all the lights light up. then hit cancel . you are going to have to turn the power of and slide the dishwasher out and look directly behind the dishwasher you will see that a wire off of the heater is more than likly burned of repair the wire you should be fine. replug dishwasher in after wire is repaired. if you do not have a burned wire you have a bad heating element replace the element.
