Question about Hitachi 50VG825 50 in. LCD HDTV
My picture is getting dark and i cannot seem to be able to adjust out the problem. i had a new lamp installed about a year ago.
Ok, so it could be both then. Um if u open up the monitor, then u should see a small chip at the bottom of the lcd. This is called the Inverter. You might have to replace that. I would take it down to any local computer shop, they usually have tools to test it, and see if its broken. unles u just wana replace it, i think they average around 40$ u can simply unplug the old one, and plug a new one in, but it wont be 100% guarantied that. could be a bad installation of your new lamp aswel.
