Question about Panasonic KX-TG4321B Cordless Phone

Phone getting switched off when speaker is turned on

Hi,  Everytime the speaker is turned on my phone, the phone gets switched off. When I try to switch it on, it says 'Not connected to base adapter'. However, the phone is constantly charged using the base adapter, and there is no reason why it should give me this message on the phone's dial. And it is only after another 2-3 mins that the phone starts working again.
Experts, would really appreciate it if you could help me solve this one!
Thanks! Aradhana

I also own a Panasonic 5.8 Ghz KX-TG 4321B and have the same problem!!! Plus the handset will reset halfway into a call

If you have a warranty active on the phone, then you can exchange it (which is what I did). However the problem really never goes away. The only solace would be that you got a new piece in exchange :-)

Buyer beware regarding Panasonic KX-TG4321B! Panasonic should offer a solution, a replacement or an upgrade if there isn't an easy fix!

(Just received this from Panasonic Support...Thanks Panasonic!) The following might be worth a try.... Resetting Handsets & Base Unit: 1) Unplug AC adaptor from base unit for 30 seconds. 2) Reset handsets by removing/reinstalling all batteries.
Re-register each handset to the base unit by following the steps below:

1. Press MENU, #, 1, 3, 0 on the handset. 2. On the base unit, press and hold the LOCATOR button for 4 seconds until the registration tone sounds. 3. On the handset, press the soft key below OK and then wait until a long beep sounds. 4. Press the OFF button to exit. Situate the base unit in a different location. Change the line mode from A to B or vice-versa by following the steps below:

1. Press MENU on the handset. 2. Press #, 1, 2, 2. 3. Press the up or down arrow key to select the desired setting. 4. Press the soft key below SAVE. 5. Press the OFF button to exit. If the problems persist, your unit is malfunctioning and is in need of repair or replacement.

Hi there:)

TRY THIS:

call in your provider to change the ssid and the network key

[all computers will be disconnected]

and then try to reconnect them one by one to the new ssid or network name

this should resolve the issue

always make sure that the wireless properties are okay and the same as the router

also check the device manager: network adapters if they are properly installed and no errors on the icon for the adapters. for windows OS[]

My laptopwant switch on? its charging but everytime I try switchinbg on it switches off straight away and the charging light flashes orange

I am giving you a step which you should try once and see if it makes any difference.

Method (Power cycle)

You need to remove the battery, adapter and any other device connected to the computer (May be any additional cards or any wires as for Ethernet or speakers or external mouse/keyboard).

Nothing should be connected at all.

Now Press and hold the power button for 25 seconds (It wont show anything). This is a step to release any static charges developed, which may surely caused the kind of issue you are facing.

Now connect the battery and the adapter and check whether it works or not.

Hope this should help

Regards
Sammy

I checked the official vtechphones.com website - they said - unplug the base for 15 secs .. re-seat the battery in the phones - check the power to all bases and once checked wait for 1 min. - I did all this and my phones are currently working again .. if you are still having a problem - you may need a new battery for your phone ..
