Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console

1 Answer

Controller problem When i play any game on ps3 after a while the controllers just stop working with no warning, even if i have the charger lead in. It sometimes happens 3 or 4 mins after turning it on or it could work for an hour or so but every time the controllers stop, the little red light dosen't even go out. Its not the controllers as i have used them on a friends ps3 with no problems.

same problem and it has nothing to do with power save, that's off and it still happens, and then i have to cut power on the back of the console to get them to resync also.

My phenom controller wont connect unless connected to usb

1 Hold your controller like you normally would when playing a game, and then flip it over. 2 Use a paperclip to hit the Reset button on the back of your controller. The button is located to the right of the screw found above the sticker on the back of the controller. 3 Connect your controller to your PlayStation 3 using the USB cable. 4 Press the PS button on the front of the controller. The system will boot up, and your controller is now reset and synced with your PlayStation 3. Tips & Warnings: If you use the same controller for multiple PS3 systems, you should do this whenever you notice problems with your controller, since it could resolve the issue. Don't press the reset button on the back of the controller too hard. Otherwise you risk damaging your controller.

This is a problem occurring in all the play station 3 consoles....... this is mainly because of the poor quality of the disc .........avoid using pirated discs.....as a result it leads to the damage of ur PS3 lens..............use good original discs........
check your lens if its working good then better download this Repair Guide for further information .........

MLB The Show '09 PS3 game and controller issue

Corrupt game data is the problem.

You need to delete the game data under the "GAME" category.

You might lose your progress...but it's better than not being able to play at all.

If that doesn't work you can do a backup, quick restore.

If that still doesn't work a FULL restore is in order.

Only one controller can work at a time

You will need to pair the second controller. To do this power on your ps3 as normal with the controller that works, then plug in your second controller via usb and press the "PS" button. The red LED's should flash and then the second led should stay on.

You should be able to play normally.

I've had the same problem before, i believe what you have to do is.. recalibrate the controller, that helped, but i don't know if it'll work for you, now i don't have a bluetooth, so i couldn't help you with that.. also, it would help for you to turn off the controller during the movie.. or not interacting with the system as far as playing games..
