Bush lcd42f1080p100hz remote will not turn tv on

I had come home about a week ago and pushed the power button from my remote but my tv did not respond. So I just went to the front panel and pushed power but once the tv turned on, the volume was on full blast! I used the front panel volume decrease to get the volume down, but when I stopped pushing the button, the tv increased its volume to full blast again by itself! Naturally I just turned the tv off for a few moments. I tried the remote again, no response again, so I used the panel power button. The tv volume was still full blast when it turned on but after I decreased the volume it stayed this time. The picture is and has been perfectly fine and the tv was working fine. The next day the problem started all over and now once we turned it off from frustration of having to manually use the panel to change channels, it now will not turn on at all. I have changed batteries from my remote, reprogrammed my remote, pushed system reset several times, unplugged it for a while, bought a new surge charge, and even held the menu and device panel buttons for 10 sec and tried to turn the t.v. on again! What other options do I have or what may be the issue at hand and possible parts that may need to be replaced?? Thanks!!

My RCA Truflat T.V won't turn on and the FPA lock is turned on, I have the original remote. what should i do?

TV won't turn on • Press the TV button. Make sure the TV is plugged in.• Check the wall receptacle (or extension cord) to make sure it is "live" by plugging in something else.• Something might be wrong with your remote control. Press the POWER button on the front of the TV. If the TV turns on, check the remote control solutions on page 26.• The front panel controls may be locked (disabled). Use the remote control to unlock the front panel controls by selecting the Lock Fr. Panel in the PARENTAL CONTROL menu and press OK (box won't have check mark).Buttons don't work
• If you're using the remote control, press the TV button first to make sure the remote is in TV mode.• The front panel controls may be locked (disabled). Use the remote control to unlock the front panel controls by selecting the Lock Fr. Panel in the PARENTAL CONTROL menu and press OK (box won't have check mark).• Unplug the TV for two minutes and then plug it back in. Turn the TV on and try again.TV turns off unexpectedly • Sleep timer might have been activated. Go to page 24 for instructions.• KidPass might have been activated. Go to page 21 for instructions.• Wake-Up timer turned on the TV and no remote or front panel buttons were pressed for two hours.• Electronic protection circuit may have been activated because of a power surge. Wait 30 seconds and then
turn on again. If this happens frequently, the voltage in your house may be abnormally high or low.
• Unplug TV. Wait five minutes. Plug it in again.

RCA HDTV MENU AND VOLUME CONTROL POPS ON AND OFF SCREEN.

My TV was doing the same thing. Someone told me to disconnect the front menu buttons and this worked for me. The board goes haywire. You have to take off the front black panel on the bottom first then the grey front panel where the controls are. Once you do this you will see where there is a plug from tv to the panel where the control buttons are. Just disconnect. You will only be able to use your remote for TV. Its a cheap and easy fix. Just lots of screws to get the panels off and on. Good luck!

Problem fixed. I unplugged the TV for 20+ seconds, then before plugging it back in, I shorted ac plug prongs together with a metal key to ensure complete discharge. Plugged TV back in and used procedure to reset password WITH ONE CHANGE TO THE PROCEDURE.

With TV turned OFF press and hold <CLEAR> button on the remote while pressing <VOLUME DOWN> button on the TV, hold until TV turns on. When the menu appears DO NOT RESET THE PARENTAL CONTROL CODE as the user guide instructs. When my menu appeared it was in the SETUP screen on the LANGUAGE setting. It was set to SPANISH, using the remote I navigated to ENGLISH. Then using the remote I navigated up to GO BACK. Then I navigated to EXIT and hit <OK> button on the remote. All was back to normal.
