Question about SVA-USA HD4208TIII-PDP 42 in. EDTV-Ready Plasma Television
SVA HD4208Tiii-PDP 42" plazma
It came out of nowhere last night: A dark translucent rectangle fills all but 2 inches of the viewing screen. I can see the picture under the dark rectangle and the edges of the screen not covered by the rectangle are normal picture. I swaped input jacks to AV-1, AV-2 and s-Video and each time the same rectangle pops up after about 10 seconds. I can change channels and for several seconds the picture is normal then the dark rectangle appears....and stays. John in Tampa
Go into the customer menu and find the "closed captions" heading. Within the closed caption you will find "TEXT". If you turn off closed captions or the text, whichever you menu lets you do, your rectangle will go away. Hope this helps
