Black photocopiers I have a Canon CLC 300 Colour Photocopier. Its fairly old but has done very few copies. (30,000)I was given it, It starts up, feeds ok, but the pages are BLACK.. JET BLACK...when they come out. There is no sign of an image at all, and there are a few lines the length of the copy, that look like scratch lines. CANON NEW ZEALAND, dont want to know about it, and every time I contact them there is always an excuse. Friends have told me that it could require a new drum. I am searching the internet to get a parts manual etc, and came across your site. Perhaps you can give me an idea where to start. I contacted Canon (Australia) and they told me I would have to go through Canon (New Zealand) Have a great day Derrick Martin e061/071

I have a canon ir 1018j black and white photocopier that does not pick a paper nor photocopy

If the problem is simply that the machine is not feeding paper, you should clean the paper pick up and feed rollers. Typically there will be one attached or above the paper tray(s) and a couple that transfer the paper through the machine to the print drum and fuser. Find them and clean them with clean cloth wet with a dilute solution of dish wash detergent with a few drops of methylated spirit or isopropanol mixed in. If paer then feeds but no print - you have more serious issues.

Black photocopiers

Did you try to make sure the primary charge corona unit is it all the way and locked down. Take it out and look to see if the wires are not broken. If the copier has 30k on it, I need to know if the OPC drum has ever been replaced? They are rated for only 10 to 15k print outs. If you really want to know for each page that comes out it has to make 4 copies on the same drum for one out put page. You are not getting a error code? Most of the time if the drum was old or bad you would get a E061. How about the dose the scannig lamp come on? You got me thinking now.... It has been years scine I worked on one.... I'm don't done yet..

Canon IR7105 Photocopier

Hello tophams,
I wish I had a magic wand to help you...but the answer is YES! You can fully control the priorities of how the 7105 handles printing/copying/scannng requests. I truly understand your dilemma, it is merely a matter of how the device has been configured. You can program the device to give priority to copies, which will cause print jobs to wait in the que until your copies are done. You can have the print jobs sent to a "mailbox" so that the person requesting a print job will have to walk up to the device and "summon" their print job. There are so many ways to help you with this. You will have to get "THE BOOK" out. I can't type all of the options available to you.
